I love the sunrise, and the moonlight too #2

…and she listened even better to me than usually, and we now creeped together behind a larger tree. And from there, my eyes on the lake’s lighting. Just couldn’t take my cake-seeker built in optics off of it. Damn stupid curiousity man!

The fake moonlight once stood above water level, stopped moving entirely. Quickly, suddenly, stopped. It started now, just to generate more shivers on us, to tremble; go into shaking in its centre first, gently in the beginning. Then the movement went through the entire light circle, making it dance gorgeously in the surrounding dark. As frightening this whole event turned out to be, as beautiful moments it has created either, let’s admit that. I don’t think anyone would have ever seen something this pretty, such cold spectacular beauty. I suddenly wished it would play some trance music in the background, the dancing trembles of the light circle (fake news moon) would fit to some Blizzard works. Kalopsya would do it. Or Closer, with Susanna. Anything just not this awful silence while we face our possible end. Ok, anything wouldn’t do of course, with Justin Bieber or Nicky Minaj as “music” to this evening and I probably would immediately jump midden into the water and light, consequences be damned! Whatever horror lies within. There is just so much a man can bear, you know…

Back to the light’s dance, it became extremely fast paced. Up to the point where you couldn’t see its circle form anymore, just a huge spot of waving light above a lake. Then, something started to shape up, or out, from the mess. Or someone, as it was shaping to a full body form, with limbs, torso, neck and head, entirely made from that brilliant silver light. Or seemed so. It(?) stepped out from the lighting lake, despite the distance from the shore, with one easy step. The lake became immediately dark behind, let’s refer to it as him, and he stood there in his silver gloriousity with no further movements for the moment. He was just a form of a human type body, a shape of that, nothing more could be seen besides limb forms. No eyes, mouth, nose, no ears or hair. Light created humanoid form. A Lightoid. After lights out. I sure wasn’t curious enough to show myself in this scene, while I wasn’t sure either I’m hidden well from him. Whatever he is, surely not someone to just shake lightoid hands with and ask if he is Zeus’ lightning thief, had an accident with the stolen object and swallowed it?! Not an idea to go with, who knows if he has a sense of humor. In such a moment me and Roxy have none too.

As creepy he looked there in this set up, circumstances and environment, as cool and pretty fantastic was too. Still a torso only made out of the purest light, now it’s official: let’s call Lightoid folk, soft and ever trembling lines of silver light made this body, not looking as a solid form as we are. A cold flame light of a moon spit a creature to this world. He started to move, slowly. Not walking, just slowly turning around from the same spot, like looking around. That, if we assume he could, without visible eyes as we would prefer to think about the matter, looking around with eyes. Not that it matters in such a situation. As he turned, on the slight edges of his body shape line of dancing light, particle lines followed every of his turns, dancing around him constantly, making Lightoid’s human shape unsolid, subtle form, gentle and seemed fragile. Not that I thought he would be really fragile and couldn’t stand an attack on him or even counterattack. And not that I wished to figure out. Hell no. With this thought looked at Roxy automatically, like seeking an answer to this notion, but she just stood there at my legs and staring without a break. I accept that in myself as a No, kitty. Thanks for the support…

Weekly Poetry, #5 – Guest Post 3 by Jane Love

And the third part of her trilogy, as we scheduled

beauty girl cry

Desperation

Five days you were in a coma
Five days when i thought it was over
Our newfound love demolished by karma’s single maneuver
It took you out like a ranger
Thus putting my life in danger

…………….

Cause baby you can’t have forgotten
That without you am nothing
God, you’ve got to bring him back
Or i can’t do anything
————————-
I remember the most recent chapter
Of our relationship
Your smile, your laughter
Your sportsmanship.
We were supposed to live happily ever after
In this lovely partnership

– – – – – – – – –  – – –

This is the desire
That i voiced out to my Messiah
If he saved you, I would lift him higher.
I’m no liar
So am bound to keep my word
As long as my request is granted by God
And you return back to this world
to be united with me – your love.

– – – – – –  – – –  – – –

You and I are meant to be

I will never let go of thee

So, if you so desire to go,

Take someone ….. Take me.

WAITING

i don’t know how long i have been crying

but my tearful face is drying

and to be calm what i am trying.

Dr. Blake’s words sent my heart flying –

i cannot imagine you dying.

..

now, in sorrow, i feel downcast

because without you, i would be an outcast…..

A character who plays in no cast.

I have a hunch this calm might not last.

..

Drivers like that – i would love to punish!

How can you spend the night drinking

only to set off driving ( in a way that hurt my sweetheart ) without thinking?!!

..

How can you hit down a person and then vanish?

You failed to assist because of the police arriving.

If i were an assassin assigned to you, i’d kill you without blinking!!!!

..

Dearest, your wound was nasty

but please do not be hasty

to forget that i will be here WAITING

until the day of your awakening.

I love the sunrise, and the moonlight

With today’s walk outside, with Roxy as my sidekick, I couldn’t help myself to simply have a smile on my face. Not just because of the fact that Roxy was extraordinarily happy for our time together again in the green and rolled over constantly in front of me to show her playfulness, great mood. Everything seemed to be so perfect all over the place: the warm on the face, although time was nearing evening, on the neck. Just feels insanely good. People made time for each other, everywhere families outside playing, walking dogs, all kind of activities everywhere in groups. Hell, people came together. Suck it Facebook, people had just too much winter before this! Put a Like on it! 🙂

I loved this morning the sunrise even more, the very first rays. I felt, the day won’t let us down, and mate, it didn’t! I love the sunrise. It brings the weekend in the right fashion to people, it is so powerful it makes them disconnect…just to reconnect. Through their dogs, cats, kids, reconnect with each other. They find a reason, they grab opportunity and in one moment, you see parks filled with joy. Streets, pedestrian ways gets decorated with drawings. You see colors around you which were absent for a long time.

We made our own walk also so much longer, could not care about time, we got a bit, hmmm, “adventurous”. So after passing our four blocks of apartment buildings in our street to arrive to the first grass field with four trees behind we always play on, we didn’t take our usual circle around those blocks, on the walking path behind them. Instead, we went straight ahead, away from the area to a small bridge, and while we were passing through on, we both looked onto the water and enjoyed the view of swimming birds trolling each other and having a big mouth towards us.

We stopped a bit. There was time enough, I thought.

Roxy, being a Bengal, was highly interested in figuring out a way to catch those meals delivered on water. Not that she could, but it is fun seeing her so excited, sometimes asking me for advice, cute faced to me with her green eyes half closed. Funny girl, as I could catch those!

I wanted to have a nice big walk, so, I called the mini tiger, and we slowly went on, few hundred meters ahead, leaving the bridge and the pesky, winged monsters behind. Then at a small intersection of paths, turned left. On this route, I knew we get to more green eventually, some bushes with several little lakes between and two, three hidden little fields to sit down between trees. Peaceful idea.

We walked and ran, playing catch me if you can on a kilometer distance on our way we had to take ’til the promising lakes’ areas. The kilometer behind, and a right turn, we got off the city walking path, arriving between the first group of trees with a little grass field and the first lake between, the biggest one, after some some hundreds of meters further exploration. Roxy still next to me, looked up at me regularly, but she was changed. Her fur, rather. Stood, all of it. All of her fur standing, tail seemed to be ticker as that had the same. The tiger mommy felt something, yet nothing to see, but I had to wonder: why so stressed, just in a moment? Not the first time we are here at this little, silent, half hidden harbor of peace.

My eyes got used to the gradual darkening as the evening slowly approached, as being constantly outside, with Puss with no boots, eyes adjusted with light changes gradually, so I just did not realize time yet. What I did realize, everything is, even if being bit hidden from eyes and from any traffic, far more silent than usually. Total silence. We stood near at the lake on our right, was easy to see entirely the water’s surface. No birds. I mean, not one, where always, the whole year through, you meet with tens of in groups every time you come. None. Admittedly, and I like a bit of a weird and suspense, this was creepy. The silence was damn much more than my city guy ears were used to, as we would have walked into a place teared out of the world. Feeling of instant isolation, just outside. Roxy came between my legs to take position, fur still standing, looking to the lake nervously. Her mood changed, and she changed mine too. Fun is gone at this point, but I found this far too curious to go. Or, just got frozen as well.

I started to gently pet my loyal Bengal ma, I believe I wanted to relax her mind and get her out of the stress, while this was relaxing me too of course. I whispered to her as I knew she listens well, while we both stared at the dead silent water. Started to be darker. Nice, we slipped further into the evening! From the weirdness of this place, which place in any other day has been just fine, I didn’t sense first how much quicker became darker. To add to the list of weirdness. And the otherwise so damn talkative cat, was silent too. Just staring to the surface of the lake, ever angrier. So did I, now with much more attention to details, for everything.

No wind, no birds’ noises; dead silent field, trees and lake. Everything stood.

Under any other circumstances would have found it relieving peaceful after the city’s noises, but not right now, not without a bit of imperfection of it. At least a little breeze should be there, some gentle animal sounds. None. Even the brave Bengal was frozen in suspicion, call it fear. At this point no one argues.

We, adventurers of this weirdly fast arriving evening, never thought we would see so quickly moonlight’s beautiful shine in the water as mirror reflects wife’s beauty back in the morning. But we saw it. And it was gorgeous, it was bright and unnaturally huge reflection. I mean, seriously, in the midden of the damned water, most of the surface mirrored the shine of the moonlight. I’m a romantic, I love moonlight as much as I love sun, with passion. But this couldn’t be, Not here, not this time of the year, and anyway, never showing like this. And just to be completely and utter creepy, when I instinctively looked up: there was no Moon on the sky yet. Not at all. Now the real shivers came to drive my skin mad in seconds. A sunny day’s walk turned into an unreal type of adventure, just by taking a turn to a lake you thought you knew.

I had to look back to the water, and just saw. The light, beautiful cold silver, brightened further and further, moving as it would have moved up from the bottom of the lake, slow enough to see beautiful subtle changes in water, effects, caused by the curious, cleanest ever silver shine, circle of…whatever new hell this might be. It got close to the surface, close to come out entirely, as it purpose with appearing and moving slowly would be to levitate in the air eventually, above the lake. Started to understand, by the way, why there were no animals at all around. Or dead, or they are just that smarter than a human and a cat, and chose to keep a healthy distance, and look for a new home without the feeling of threat, damnation and despair. Feelings, pretty much started to haunt us inside, slowly emerging as we “enjoyed” the spectacularly out of world light show.

Meters behind us, rows of trees. I called Roxy while started to slowly, carefully go to those with the thought of hiding behind a bigger one and we might slowly get out of here, without being noticed. I did not know why I thought there would be someone (something) to notice us whom I would not want to succeed doing so, but I felt it. In eevry bones, I felt, this is not natural. This isn’t a once in a lifetime, otherwise natural occurrence. Nature’s rare sense of humor. Nope. This was bad omen brother, and tiger mama felt that too…

<to be continued>

Yes, it started as a usual post about telling something of a day, or some thoughts of reality, indeed. Even my cat’s name is real in. Well, it is a first piece of a starting fiction series. From me. To you all. 🙂

There is no Winner (a fiction)

Sigh, finally a little peace. My god, all that exaggeration – thought Timothy with a dark and still red(ish) face while choosing a bench next to the green and flowered field between the apartment buildings.

Gorgeous, sunny, warm spring day, air is richly filled with the scents of the many wild flowers and fresh grass growing all over the place. Little spring flowers popped out the ground everywhere; purple, yellow, white, slowly forming Nature’s carpet between four building blocks. Freshly laid down carpet, prepared by caring hands. Trees came alive, two on this picnic space, entirely in white and pink aside from the green leaves decorating in-between. Small singing birds spread the news in the air about a fresh start of life.

Just Tim couldn’t agree with their rhythm, there was nothing happy about his life right now, seeing all of this around him grey, foggy, faded. His mind is trapped in a fight, a stupid fight at home. The third already this month. Will there be more as these? It doesn’t make it easier that he has a very strong competing personality, a load of stubbornness. He wants to win this one. Consequences damned. Not that he doesn’t love his girlfriend, even now he’s looking at their window from this bench. Maybe he gets a sneak peak, what she’s doing…

– Excuse me young man, may I sit a bit here? – Tim was waking up with a slight shock caused by surprise as the old lady appeared next to him with a lightly smiling expression on her very wrinkled, yet warm face. The eyes carefully half pointed to his sport bag and half looking into his eyes. The neighborhood’s friendly grandma, you could call her, thought Timothy. That, if he ever would have seen her actually.

– Oh..I’m sorry…of course ma’am, – he answered politely and bit embarrassed. Not sure because of the bag that meant an obvious obstacle for this incredibly lovely lady, or his own angry thoughts. It would be childish to think that she could sense anything from those. He had to smile a bit about this last thought. – please, enjoy! The gentle old lady rewarded him with a bigger smile, with one which is rare these days: it’s meant. She still looked on his face, even into his eyes as she sat down, like a careful inspection of expressions.

– Gorgeous day, isn’t it?! – she formed the obvious, seemingly very happily – I love this time of the year the most, so much good to sense from life, feel the pleasant warm rays of spring. One just can’t be bothered…

– One would wish… – so Timothy, more to himself, but his voice is stronger than he thought, harder than expected from self.

– Is that so? – looked this entirely in peaceful white dressed lady with honest interest to him. – What could be so terribly wrong in such a God given beautiful, lovely afternoon?

– Nahhh, not worth to mention. Sorry! – he closed the short convo quickly. Or, he thought so.

– Looking at you, and the dark clouding your face, it must be worthy if spoils such a golden day.

– Just a small fight with my fiance – rolled out his mouth, and he had no idea why actually. He never even saw her. Probably that kind, trustworthy face. So gentle. – Stupid little things piling up and we fought about. But they CAN spoil any day!

– Oh, oh, that’s why sitting here, while staring to there! I understand. Trying to think of a good way to settle? Apology?

– Well, surely not! – so Tim, half laughing, more of a sarcastic one – I’m sitting here and waiting in hope of a WIN, no more talks. This time I am the one must win a fight. Even if it’s about chores, which might seem silly, but…Putting my feet hard down on this today!

– And the ones suffering are…you and the flowers. With those feet so hard down. – she risked a slight joke. – I don’t see this strategy making you happy…

– The result will. Probably. The feel of a win.

– Well, you are saying: rather sitting here, obviously upset, angry even, rather that than talking. She is sitting there, probably in the same state of mind. There is moment, you gotta go back, later in the evening. How that will go then?

– Silent. I imagine, a silent evening. Maybe even a week. Or two. Who knows how long, but could be. Depends on how long madame keeps on being the hurt.

– Because it isn’t to assume she could be hurt?

– Couldn’t I be hurt?! – asked Tim, more rhethorically meant

– Did you tell? – now with a real cute curious face the old lady.

– Well…no. How would I, come on?! I’m a man…

– Ahhh! Pride! Known obstacle for ages!

– Mocking me now?! I’m a male man, we have other ways to express things…

– Like sitting on benches, angry…

– Like making a stand, for principes. A cold war. One to win!

– But you love her, right?!

– Yes, love her the most from everyone in my life. We soon will marry. Becoming a family.

– Hah, the contradiction! I have made through war times, but never against those we loved. That is new, even for me. And I am old, that I can tell you! There is no older around than myself, there can be no denial on that!

– She needs to learn it, she can’t always be right. You cannot always be the winner in a competition for power and lead.

– I thought you are partners. You would marry…

– Yes. But that doesn’t mean to give up on me being the male.

– Interesting…

– How so?! – asked Timothy, bit challenging perhaps

– You see, you’re saying, you’re sitting here alone, first, in a glorious beautiful day, dark in anger about something minor chores-…waring, just to make a statement. Silently. Which is difficult. In a WAR, cold war, with the one you claim to love the most from all the people you know. So much, you even marry her soon. But a power struggle about household chores seem to far outweigh that huge amount of love. This might even take longer, as you told, so more glorious sunny days to MISS you could enjoy together. Instead, sitting separate, in cold. Next to an old lady’s chattering about…life?! – she slowly, tired obvious, stood up from the bench while saying the last two sentences. – I have to admire your faith in a WINNING. Or hers, if she would think the same. I have yet to see (and probably won’t have the time for) a war, where a winner is coming out of. On any of the sides, mind you! Especially a cold one, in a warm spring day. Look at those birds on the tree, middle of the field. They have a short, and often, troublesome life. They work a lot, they are prey of carnivores, they have to raise many kids in a short time. Yet, they find a way to stick to it committed, working together, some sorts of them even for a lifetime. They know no wars among each other, but the wins are beautiful: more singing birds we enjoy!

Tim looked into the direction while she said these, focusing strong on those, seemingly dancing, flying, happy looking small birds. They made him smile. Probably also thanks to the commentary came with the view. He just realized, he smiled. First time today. Not just because of the birds dancing, but the words have hit him and the unearthy warmth of the voice told him those. He didn’t even realize the change of her voice ’til now.

He again looked back where the old lady stood, to say something else…but…no lady anywhere. Just a very sharp, far little light lit up a bit, above the horizon. He thought to see, but perhaps just could be the strong sun playing with his eyes. Still, that voice…felt so unreal. Felt so wise and kind, completely out of these times, not belonging in ’17.

Am I getting crazed? Who was she? Did I talk to someone? – he still smiled while thinking. His mind boggled on it a bit, but her words struck in his heart. That feeling was much stronger, so much more. He found all his efforts of anger and pride so infantile. He looked to his home’s window again. Their home. Finally the truth has hit him: their foolish behaviour is a complete contradiction of their love! It is their life what is at stake. This is not some of a childish war game between kids.

He stood up, smiling even more and started to walk. To home. And to this thought, smiled wider and the dark vanished from his face. He felt relieved, enlightened. The feeling when something big gets discovered. A big truth. He does love her.

It will be one hell of a big, warm apology tonight.

He didn’t know, yet, what to say exactly, but the smile he keeps on while going to hug her after stepping in, that’s for sure. After all, we’re soon a family, in our nest. Against the rest.

Can’t deny that.

Unconscious

This was supposed to be a splendid date-

a setup involving a strategically placed bait

that may eventually lead to a life-long mate.

But i am afraid you will have to wait-

I may be a little Late.

..

As i crossed the highway road,

i was freed from my heavy load

because when i exited the shop,

out of my hands – flew the cake.

Down on the ground i did drop

after i was hit by a car with no brake.

..

You will probably think my love confession was fake

and throw our conversation into anger’s lake

for what i hear from Dr. Blake

is that i may never wake.

..

Baby, i am alone on this track.

My body feels as though it was crushed by a bowling rack.

Everywhere i look seems black.

Yet even in this darkness,my love for you will never lack.

..

Dearest, i’m scared.

Should i come back?

Or should i go on being dead?
