Guest post of Poetry

An other great post has been sent in by Jane Love (almost wrote Jane Eyre, but she is not that old classic of course 🙂 ). Enjoy!

Heart Pangs

From dusk to dawn…
From stretches to yawn –
Thoughts of you race through my mind.
The very moment I sleep,
Your beautiful face starts to creep
Into a dream that I frequently find
Myself in.
For every night in it, you ride
On your way to meet me
At the church where all will see
My hands lift the veil off you, my bride.
As the priest spoke,
To focus and wait is what I tried.
But whenever I stared at you…
At your beauty – my patience broke.
When we kissed, all cried.
And those who minded were quite a few.
Now you know you’re a professional thief.
Because every night you steal my dreams
Only to stay for a period that’s too brief.
Thus leaving me shedding streams
Upon my awakening.
All because you’re no longer here, my love.
You’ve gone too soon.

Thanks again

Another month, another award to be nominated for by a wonderful follower, blogger and friend of my place here, she made obvious many times over: Roda,  once again, voted to me kindly.  I highly advise, if you haven’t done so already, to visit her beautiful site. Chances are great you will find posts enough for your liking to read away…I know I do.

Many thanks for her, and for the readers and commenters, for the continued support, extremely positive attention, appreciation for the crime I committed by opening in January and by maintaining ever since this blog site. Glad you like it, really glad for, and I sincerely hope I will have you on board for the rest of the year as well as in the next one (if there will be).

Now, pop the champagne folks!

I love the sunrise, and the moonlight too (fiction, piece #3)

‘You can come out and stand front of me, human’

That was surprising and completely unexpected. He started to talk, and obviously he knew about our presence.

‘You will not have harm upon you and your furred creature, human. Come front, please! We need to talk urgently’

One surprise after an other: starts to talk to us, felt our presence, talks in english, clearly, and doesn’t seem to seek hostile progress. Although, that last part isn’t sure yet, anyone could say anything. Also he could lie. I was weighing possibilities, chances.

‘I do not lie! We never do. I have an important message regarding this world of yours. There is no time to waste at all!’

Well, normally I would say, that clears up a lot. In such a situation however doubt doesn’t shrink so fast. Roxy was sitting now, looking at me and talking with her usual meows to me, with a face of peace and relax as usually she does. Her stress level went indeed down, obvious. She just tried to tell me something, like Bengal cats do very often. They are extremely talkative animals. Her fur isn’t standing, she is sitting and looking peacefully.

‘How could I be sure about?’ – was the first came out me. Roxy again with a meow to me, this time with a slight of complain-like voice. I looked back at her: ‘Of course, any better ideas?! No? Thought so.’

‘You and your furred friend are still alive, aren’t you?’

Damn good argument. Now what?!

Early morning brew

Tiring some might find, but there is some true beauty in getting up early on a summer morning. Not that the bed could hold me, however he tried with warmth and gentle touches, just couldn’t.

I was restless, probably felt it in my veins already, what a gorgeous, peaceful, warm yet pleasant monday morning. It smells fresh, green, flower. And it smells…well, 4 a.m. And already some light outside, so there is a serene view for the early bird with no sleep on his eyes. And of course a happy Roxy with a “Hey dad, you come to play with me, we go for a walk again?”– look on her face, in her gentle eyes. Yes little thing, we go…we went on her demanded walk in the village.

And then the beauty of sipping your very first coffee outside in your garden, with nothing else than the many sorts of birds outside flying and singing around you, making our mornings even better and for the cats Le Miserable, frustrating as they can’t catch one. Their faces and voices are funny, you can see and hear so much the frustrations and an invisible question mark above their head “And what are you laughing about now?”  About you silly. And then back to coffee, sipping from both, the hot motor oil of body and spirit, and the flawless, incredibly healthy air. True peace, closed eyes for some minutes and opened ears for the close and distant songs of nature. Just understood how much I love these many birdies. There is a lot of joy in having and hearing them.

There is a lot of joy in just getting up in the right moment, and have a treat for your senses with this world’s little details.  It might be addictive, a spectacular start of a day.

Sunny side of life force

So much things are done, and after a month, we look damn good settled here. Which also means, we got a new laptop for myself to work on AND to come finally more often here too.

Yet with retard Windows 10 on it, but not for long, soon linux is taking its well deserved space. Because it would be an awful thing to waste a machine 🙂

Yes, somewhat more. Maybe not as often as used to in peaktime March and April of my blogging on WordPress, with often several posts a day, but the silent treatment time surely shrinks further. A balance between March and past week’s performances.

How ya doin’? <insert Joey’s voice> Of course great, I saw your creativity’s babies. Such cute faces…

We’re so progressing with: internet, phone, TV connections are in, energy contracts are also signed, paperworks done and more is prepared, garden is getting a different (better) shape. One thing is still a freaking mystery however: where the hell one purchases animals from. Yes, live animals, as for the farm part, and no, not like dogs or cats. Nice that we have a huge land and garden, being able to provide vegetables and fruits for ourselves the whole year, but hey, animals are needed as well. Must catch somehow…like Pokemons.

And a wonderful, as expected, tropical kind of summer we currently enjoy.  Super air, sun and fun! Even with that we’re fortunate lately. Spectacular!

Below, my wife with our first batch of flower from our front garden, I surprised with:
